Accompanied by “extreme hiker” Thorsten Hoyer, you will immerse yourself in the exciting, almost untouched forest and lake landscape around the 27 km long Edersee / Kellerwald National and Nature Park Edersee and Bad Wildungen.

On the certified quality hiking trails Urwaldsteig Edersee On the Kellerwaldsteig and Kellerwaldsteig trails, you will hike through one of the most attractive low mountain landscapes north of the Alps. Amidst pristine forests, past gorges, cliffs, and streams, you will experience the realm of ancient beech trees up close. The fascinating views of the fjord-like, winding Edersee.

What counts is not who is faster, better or who reaches the finish line first, but rather the hiking experience with like-minded people. Everyone hikes at their own pace, enjoys the many small natural wonders along the route in their own way or lingers at the numerous viewpoints or food and adventure stations.
