The Lichtenfels circular cycle path leads across the northern part of Lichtenfels. A wonderful tour through valleys, forests and meadows, which sometimes becomes a sporting challenge. Between Goddelsheim and Immighausen you can see the ruins of the old Gut Schaaken monastery in the distance. An overall interesting and varied route through the north of the Lichtenfels district.

In general, the “AST-Taxi” (CallSammelTaxi) should also be included in the planning. With the CallSammelTaxis (AST), the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in great demand. Instead of taking the bus, you can travel here in normal taxis or rental cars. AST also have fixed timetables - you just have to register your wish to travel by telephone (usually) up to 30 minutes before the journey. Also remember that AST only run when there are no normal buses running at the same time.

The cycle paths/routes sometimes alternate between asphalted, gravel and/or field/forest paths. Very rare, even on roads with little traffic. The cycle paths/routes can also be combined as desired and are signposted on both sides. There are also a few combined cycle and pedestrian paths.
Unfortunately, the signage is not optimal in some places. Use of the cycle path/route is at your own risk. If there is strong wind, heavy rain or snowfall, you should not use this cycle path/route!
