Hiking Marathon 2026 - 24-Hour Hiking Adventure Edersee

In the quality hiking region Edersee You will hike on the famous trails Lichtenfelser Panoramaweg, Urwaldsteig Edersee and Kellerwaldsteig. Amidst pristine forests – past gorges, cliffs, and streams – you will experience the realm of ancient beeches and oaks up close. The fascinating views of the fjord-like, winding Edersee.

What counts is not who is faster, better or who reaches the finish line first, but rather the hiking experience with like-minded people. Everyone hikes at their own pace, enjoys the many small natural wonders along the route in their own way or lingers at the numerous viewpoints or food and adventure stations. Along the way you make contacts and motivate other participants to persevere, because everyone has the motivation to complete around 42 kilometers (hiking marathon) or around 84 kilometers (extreme hike).
