With the Eddis family hiking trail Edersee Adventure tour opens up for families on Edersee a short hiking trail that is ideally connected to the existing hiking trails in the Kellerwald-Eder Nature Park and National Park.Edersee (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Hiking fun, adventure, and information are the focus of the 4,8 km main route. Children and parents alike will discover an exciting and informative hiking experience through the realm of ancient beech trees. The family hiking trail is characterized by short walking times, few elevation changes, and 13 free family fun experience stations.
The start and finish point for the 4,8 km long main route is the WildtierPark. For the very young hikers, there is also a small Eddis Edersee-Adventure tour of approximately 2 km in length. The start and finish points are at the Treetop Walk ticket office. At both starting points, children will receive Eddi's Adventure Hiking Map with lots of information and a competition entry.
