Eder Dam parking lot - west side
The large car park is located on the west side of the Eder Dam and has approximately 600 parking spaces. The Eder Dam is just a short walk away.
There are public toilets at the parking lot.

- How to Arrive
We recommend traveling by road via the federal highway L3086. Left over the bridge to Hemfurth. Then turn right towards the barrier wall.
Parking
Parking lot (car + bus*) Edertalsperre (west side of the dam) - This parking lot is chargeable for cars. Buses park for free.
A daily rate (cash) can be drawn. The parking ticket is then valid in all other paid locations in the municipality of Edertal and the city of Waldeck!

In general, the “AST-Taxi” (CallSammelTaxi) should also be included in the planning. With the CallSammelTaxis (AST), the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in great demand. Instead of taking the bus, you can travel here in normal taxis or rental cars. AST also have fixed timetables - you just have to register your wish to travel by telephone (usually) up to 30 minutes before the journey. Also remember that AST only run when there are no normal buses running at the same time.
