The Georg Viktor Spring, dating from 1378, is named after Prince Georg Viktor von Waldeck (18311893–1959). In earlier times, the fountain was also called the City or Sour Spring. The original spring was located in the Wandelhalle (fountain). The new spring, drilled in XNUMX, is still in use today.
