Four-tower view Fritzlar

The old town of Fritzlar is surrounded by an almost completely preserved city wall with numerous towers. From a certain point on the Mainzer Ring, it's possible to see four of these towers simultaneously: the Grey Tower, the Women's Tower, the Winter Tower, and the Pulpit Tower. The other Fritzlar towers also have their own names. The Rondengang (Round Walk) is highly recommended as an impressive circular walk along the approximately 2,5 km long city wall, which leads past the Fritzlar towers. In one of these four towers, the Grey Tower, there is an exhibition on the dramatic history of the town and a model of the medieval early warning system.
