Church by the lake on Scheid
Church at the lake on Scheid is one of the 14 churches located on the Edersee and along the Eder Cycle Path. Equipped with a multimedia, accessible information system, the churches allow you to immerse yourself in the history of the church and the respective location, listen to devotions and musical pieces, solve puzzles, or get tips for your onward journey.
The church at the lake is new on the lawn on the Scheid peninsula at Edersee equipped with a mobile church and a "Cafédrale". It is the regional church center for camping and holiday pastoral care at Edersee.
Between Easter and Thanksgiving and throughout the summer months, the "Church on the Move" teams organize services and offer a varied program, especially for young families (campfires, bread baking, children's meetings, canoe trips, live music, creative, cultural activities, etc.). The Cafedrale invites you to take a break with a view over the Edersee or for conversations about God and the world. Welcome!

In general, the "AST taxi" should also be included in the planning. With the call-and-collect taxis, the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in such high demand. Instead of taking the bus, you travel in normal taxis or rental cars. AST taxis also have fixed timetables - you only have to register your travel request by phone (usually) up to 30 minutes before the journey. Also remember that AST taxis only run when there are no normal buses running at the same time.
