Evangelical Lutheran St. Martin's Church in Vöhl

The Martinskirche in Vöhl is one of the 14 churches located on Edersee and along the Eder Cycle Path. The Evangelical Martinskirche is a listed church building in Vöhl. The church tower made of rubble stones in the west is essentially medieval. He received his retracted, slate-covered, square tower, which houses the belfry, in 1769. On it sits an octagonal tower clock tower covered with a bell-shaped hood. A classical nave was added to the tower in 1843. The interior has galleries on three sides, the pillars of which lead up to the mirror vault. The church's furnishings include the pulpit, which stands between pilasters on the east wall. A small altar cross dates from the Baroque period. The organ with 19 registers, two manuals and a pedal was built in 1975 by the Böttner organ builder in the case of the instrument built by Jakob Vogt in 1886, which had 19 registers on two manuals and a pedal. Of the 1.386 organ pipes, some were taken from the old organ.
