We start at the Melbach parking lot, on the left before Bringhausen. The trail gradually descends steeply toward the banks of the Ede River and Alt-Bringhausen. We first observe the geology and flora.
What are these ancient structures rising from the lakebed, and what stories can they tell us? We get to know the former inhabitants and houses and their stories.
Finally, we visit Bring Castle and its wicked lord. We return to the parking lot via the former cemetery avenue.
