In spring, nature blooms around the Edersee in new splendor. The water shimmers blue and is even crystal-clear in some places. In summer, the trees turn their leaves a rich green, and the lake's waters are a deep blue. In autumn, you can experience the vibrant colors of the "Indian Summer," while the ruins of the old Eder Valley appear on the lake. Winter is cold and harsh on the one hand, and calm and beautiful on the other.
